Hi !

I'm Nalani I hope you get to see my store ...but you found the website and that's a start! Red Pineapple is a fruit often found in tropical floral arrangements, and thus our name Red Pineapple was born.

My store has been growing and morphing like the tides...I thought honolulu was starved for a great shop filled with goodies we usually have to lug back from our travels. Before now, we would have to go online and pay an arm and a leg for great customized gifts for friends and family. I wanted to created a boutique that was fun, hip, and packed with delightful local and mainland gifts we could send to the people we love.

I looked into my favorite magazines like O by Oprah, Instyle, Real Simple, and Food and Wine and Shop and started to research products I loved and found a way to bring them here to Hawaii. Since there are so many wonderful things to choose from, I decided that the items sold in our store would be things that I, myself, would give to my friends, or things that I wanted for my own home and kitchen. And that first idea for my store was 15 years ago!!!!

Red Pineapple is always changing with a wide range of fun and unique items. The store is truly a reflection of myself, so when you come into the store, it really is like welcoming you into my home.
